Your flight details
The calculator and the letter generator run in your browser. The airports, the airline, the delay and the letter fields are not sent to us. The calculator keeps your inputs in the address of the page, so a link you share contains them.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Umami, an analytics tool hosted on our own servers. It sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses. It records the page, the referring site, the browser and device type, the country, and a few named events such as running the calculator or opening a claims company link. Event values are coarse ranges and codes. No airport pair, flight number or date is recorded.
Server logs
Our web server records each request: the time, the page, the response and the browser type. These logs leave out IP addresses and the part of a page address after the question mark. When you open a link that starts with /go/, the server also logs which link it was and the page you came from.
Settings in your browser
The claim letter generator can keep what you typed in your browser for 7 days, so a reload does not lose it. The cookie page lists it.
If you write to us, we use your address and message to answer you, and delete the thread once it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Ask for a copy, a correction or the deletion of your data at info@hourslate.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
